Wednesday, 9/21/22, Hill Town of Volterra
After the ferry ride from Elba and the bus ride to Volterra, we are ready to get on our feet and see the town. I already know from research that it has an old-world feel and charm.

Volterra's Spectacular Views
Alabaster Workshop
After the town tour, it's free time for lunch (and shopping!) before our visit to a local Alabaster artist.
This is another fabulous stop where we see an artist at work. The trade tools he uses to create these beautiful works of art are scattered about. They have a certain artistic beauty all their own.
